This program will introduce swimmers to the fun world of SCUBA Diving under the supervision of a Certified SCUBA Instructor.  With both classroom and water experience, you will learn about the necessity for proper and safe SCUBA training and the potential for family participation.  You will also discover what SCUBA Educators has to offer.  Requirements:

• The minimum age is 10 years old

• You will need to be able to swim 25-50 yards continuously using any stroke

• You will complete a medical questionnaire

This is a great way to experience what SCUBA Diving is like without committing to an entire course.  We will start you out with about 30 minutes of lecture that will explain some of the Do's and Don'ts of breathing compressed air underwater, then we will head to the pool to learn some of the basics of how to get the water out of your mask while you are underwater, how to equalize the pressure in your ears and a few other helpful things that Divers need to know.  Then we will gear up and spend about and hour under water breathing air from that tank strapped to your back!  THIS COURSE DOES NOT CERTIFY YOU AS AN OPEN WATER DIVER!

Classes will run twice on Sunday, June 13th.  First class will be from 10:30-1:00PM & second class will be from 5:00PM-7:30PM.  The cost of the Class is $70.00/session.  Anyone who then signs up for the Open Water Diver's Certification Course will receive a discount on the fee.  Come join the fun & have an adventure underwater!!!
